Contact Lenses are taking place of glasses for the ones who have blurred vision for years. The CDC has been confirming that over 30 Million People in this world utilize these little Contact Lenses. Well different people do have different reasons to wear them some wear them for the sake of cosmetics such as Cat eye and color Lenses while others use it for medical vision reasons. The problem is that not all of them will remove the lenses at night a mistake that is gonna be really expensive.

To wear the contact lenses you have to take care of clean hands and cleans lenses with sanitary conditions or any dust particles or some kind of bacteria can be transferred to your eyeball causing an infection. So just imagine that bacteria sitting on your eyeball overnight (very creepy).

Chad Groeschen bought ‘extended wear’ lenses that are fine to be left while asleep.

His days went normal with left eye a  little watering and blurry vision he thought it may be normal allergy. One night Chad decided to sleep with lenses on as he read on the prescription which said it is fine to do so. In the middle of night Chad woke up to see what has gone wrong but he never expected it would do that much damage to his left eye. Sinus pressure that managed to build up caused him to wake up with extremely cloudy vision and massive headache.

Without wasting a minute, he quickly went to hospital. The doctors discovered that he had Pseudomonas bacteria spreading and growing under his left contact lens. Doctors successful to stop the further spreading of bacteria before it could make it any more worse. Chad is waiting for his infection to heal before he can get a corneal transplant after which some of his vision will be back not all but some.

(Notice) Please for your eye’s sake remove the lenses before heading to bed.
