Two firefighters from New Jersey named Tim Young and Paul Haullings who had worked tirelessly for 12 hours to extinguish a big fire went to dinner that night after a long hard day at work.
That day at Restaurant their waitress was Liz Woodward while Liz happened to hear the two firefighters discussing their long hard day at work fighting with a big fire when Tim and Paul went for the dinner they were surprised to see this instead of a bill.
As Tim and Paul read this note their eyes filled up with tears. When they reached home Tim posted the picture on his facebook saying “Such a kind and selfless act”. Tim urged his friends to make a trip out to the restaurant and support the business and if Liz Woodward is your waitress make sure you tip big.
It does not end here. Later firefighters found out that Liz’s father is quadriplegic and has been paralysed since 5 years and Liz had set up a donation page for donations to fund an automatic wheelchair accessible van for her father so that she can take her father to places. Meanwhile, all this Tim urged people on facebook to donate to Liz’s crowdfund. In a couple of days, Liz collected 70,000$ crossing the 17,000$ needed for a wheelchair accessible van. Liz and her family couldn’t be any more greatful to the two firemen. Liz the waitress said, “It goes to show that you just have to be kind to each other and that even the smallest gesture can change your life”
